This ‘little’ CBD hotel plays a big game when showing its guests a good time.
Seriously central CBD location – pegged as being connected to Sydney’s biggest draw cards via undercover walkways (you had us at undercover).
For business mostly but pleasure too, Little National Hotel Sydney is a decent pick.
230 rooms total. 18sqm in total a piece, but with a Super King(!) bed. Obvs that bed takes up most of the floor space, so unless you are travelling solo, expect to spend most of your room-time literally in bed.
Love a hotel with alternate pillows available on request. T2 tea plus in-room soy milk option (wow!). Free movies (all that bed-time won’t go a-wasting).
Great large gym on-site, – not typical of many boutique hotels.
In-room dining is limited (or unlimited really) to mobile apps but the beautiful thing is there’s no shame here. It’ll get dropped at your hotel room door without a raised eyebrow from hotel staff.

Well, it’s beautifully CBD-central. Sure, it’s not as ’boutiquey’ in character to some of our other picks, but super king bed – hello!
Alternate pillow menu, T2 teas, soy as an in-room milk option, no shame in ordering Uber Eats…need we say more? We’re seriously thinking Little National Hotel Sydney is solo-travelling at its finest.
And when you’ve got a stack of work to do, complimentary Nespresso coffee in the hotel’s library and Terrace Bar sounds mighty tempting. All that AND the rates are pretty exceptional too.
