/ Sydney City

This ‘little’ CBD hotel plays a big game when showing its guests a good time.

Seriously central CBD location – pegged as being connected to Sydney’s biggest draw cards via undercover walkways (you had us at undercover).

For business mostly but pleasure too, Little National Hotel Sydney is a decent pick.

230 rooms total. 18sqm in total a piece, but with a Super King(!) bed. Obvs that bed takes up most of the floor space, so unless you are travelling solo, expect to spend most of your room-time literally in bed.

Love a hotel with alternate pillows available on request. T2 tea plus in-room soy milk option (wow!). Free movies (all that bed-time won’t go a-wasting).

Great large gym on-site, – not typical of many boutique hotels.

In-room dining is limited (or unlimited really) to mobile apps but the beautiful thing is there’s no shame here. It’ll get dropped at your hotel room door without a raised eyebrow from hotel staff.

Our Mini-Itinerary of Recommendations for Your Stay at Little National Hotel Sydney

Yes, there’s Barangaroo, but for the boutique hotel lover, we think the better picks for stays at Little National Hotel Sydney are the following:

Coffee from Diggy Doos inside Region Food Arcade, or Regiment, where you can also grab brekkie.

Don’t miss an opportunity to swing past nearby Jimmy’s Falafel, or alternatively, go twice.

This is Sydney CBD afterall, so a dinner one night has to be a Merivale haunt. Try super-close Good Luck Restaurant Lounge or old faithful, Mr Wong. You’ve Felix Restaurant with Little Felix pre or post, or Bar Totti’s for pre and post.

For a side of dark and moody, try Restaurant Hubert or Le Foote, both by Swillhouse. Your posts will be at basement bar, Apollonia.

Pasta lovers, do Ragazzi.

Why Stay at Little National Hotel Sydney?

Well, it’s beautifully CBD-central. Sure, it’s not as ’boutiquey’ in character to some of our other picks, but super king bed – hello!

Alternate pillow menu, T2 teas, soy as an in-room milk option, no shame in ordering Uber Eats…need we say more? We’re seriously thinking Little National Hotel Sydney is solo-travelling at its finest.

And when you’ve got a stack of work to do, complimentary Nespresso coffee in the hotel’s library and Terrace Bar sounds mighty tempting. All that AND the rates are pretty exceptional too.
